Restaurant Seespitz in Herrsching am Ammersee

Were there now during Corona times. The reservation on the phone was courteous. There is also enough parking space. The accompaniment to the table / on the terrace rather brisk. Breathtaking view of the Ammersee. Can also be paid for very well. In my opinion, the prices for the dishes are not justified, as there was hardly any choice. And then really very economical portions. I had the salmon with what felt like 5 sweet potatoes on my plate. (By the way, I could have done this dish better at home.) To drink a beer and enjoy the view definitely great, to have dinner here planned and to enjoy it, a total flop !!!!

We ate here on two evenings. The restaurant is modern and nicely decorated, the music is pleasantly unobtrusive. The service was very friendly and accommodating, the food was delicious. After it was warm enough for us, we wanted to sit outside due to the risk of infection and that was also made possible without further ado. For our dog, water and dog biscuits were brought directly - without our asking. We'd love to come back on our next visit to Herrsching

Beautifully located directly on the Ammersee with a large terrace, the restaurant is also open and bright inside. We had shared an excellent starter plate. The main course was a paella, which was also very tasty. Gdr service was very friendly and quick. I'll be back for sure.

Good beer, even better food, vegan alternative!!

Nice restaurant with a very nice view of the lake and very friendly staff. Certainly not the cheapest but the location and especially the quality of the food justify the price.

The food is good, but what is more noteworthy is the service. The two waiters who served us were extremely early! Absolute recommendation!

The location is a sensation. Before the new tenant I was there 1-2 times a week, because as a Herrschinger with regional proximity I simply love this place. Unfortunately it has now become a "tourist trap". That's okay, but I can't see the highly touted concept with the high quality card. I am happy to spend a few euros more, but so far I would not have known what. The map is relatively weak in my opinion. I went there 4 times after it reopened. On the day of the opening, everyone was mercilessly overwhelmed. Then with work colleagues -> everyone had burgers, as the "rest" on the menu wasn't much more imaginative. I hope the winter will give you a "reset" and you will concentrate a little more on the locals again;).

Our visit was for lunch and we loved it. Friendly service, good food, always keeping an eye on the lake, what more could you want? The prices called up are fully within the framework of what you get, both in terms of scope and quality, with pleasure again on our next visit to the region!

After the tenant change, friendly staff and great service! A young and committed team tries to make you forget the unfriendly reputation of the old days with delicious food and a high level of attention. With success. We like to go to the Seespitz again, because the children are also well catered for and the dog also had "treats" with the main course. Big compliment and absolute recommendation!

Nice meeting point for drinks on the lake

Since the new owner has been running the Seespitz, the difference has been like day and night. The food is TOP QUALITY, everything was super fresh and well seasoned. Our daughter was immediately delighted with painting things and the service was also very friendly. Of course it is a shame that there is no more pizza, but we were told that they would like a new concept - the food convinced us and you can get the pizza somewhere else. We look forward to coming back to Seespitz very soon.

The location of the restaurant is fantastic to watch a sunset over the Ammersee. Dedicated new tenants, very attentive service during the week. Weak point: the menu: no menu, no daily menu, no seasonal dishes. And unfortunately the super pizzas no longer exist. No longer an Italian restaurant, but a Mediterranean one !? The selection and composition of the dishes takes getting used to. The pricing is too high for Herrsching. A plus: no day off (yet).

Since the renovation, the restaurant is very, very nice and the food is fantastic! We had tried everything from meat, to burgers, to shrimp and pasta, and everything was very tasty. The service was great, very nice and attentive and courteous despite the full restaurant. we're looking forward to next time! The restaurant is a wonderful spot to watch the sunset!

In the Seespitz restaurant you can not only enjoy the Mediterranean cuisine very well, the view of the Ammersee is also fantastic. The whole thing is rounded off by very nice staff, who make every guest feel welcome, ... We definitely felt that way on our vacation! We were walking by and got hungry. The view from garden seemed nice and it wasn't crowded when we were passing, so we decided to sit not expecting anything special. But, from the beginning we were positively surprised. Everything was very clean and the stuff made good first impression. Second positive surprise was when the food arrived. We took risotto and fish. Everything was nicely arranged and very very tasty. Ice tea was very good too (glass straw ?). It can be seen that somebody put a lot of attention to details and the place deserves my strong recommendation.

Super location (visually beautiful inside, brilliant outside on the terrace), friendly, clean and reasonably priced for the quality offered. Everyone will find something here, whether for a small budget or a demanding kitchen. I hope that the concept of the new tenant works, as we will be happy to come back.

Nice view

We were very welcome as a family with a small child and ate well! The ambience was very nice and the food was delicious. The new swing from the restaurant fits wonderfully into Herrsching. We love to come back ...

Super delicious food, normal waiting times and very friendly staff! A fantastic view - from the terrace an absolute holiday feeling at home! :) The old ratings are no longer correct. When asked what the outdated reviews are all about, we were told that they cannot be easily deleted. The Seespitz reopened at the beginning of May and has nothing to do with the previous restaurant. In short, we had a great stay!

Food is not good, service is terrible!!! It could not be worse.

The waiter was very rude. We waited in the entrance, like in any restaurant, waited for the waiter to arrive, told him we were 3 people & asked if there was a table. Angrily he said “go and look!” Then we definitely wanted to sit outside. So we chose a table outside. Because it was raining, they moved the tables a bit further away from the balcony side but tables were still wet. We asked him to dry it. He yelled “why don’t you sit inside!? you will be wet” when there was no rain even remotely close to the table. He was just lazy to dry the table. He came back with A WET towel to clean the wet table.. This old man should not be working anymore. I understand being a waiter can get stressing. but we were nothing but kind to him & customers don’t arrive to your restaurant to be SCOLDED, but we simply come to eat food. Ciao and never see you again, italians with horrible attitude.
